Our boxed Acoustic ducting is a medium foam to reduce air flow noise and the noise from the fan that is transmitted down the air flow 

Boxed ducting comes in 5m  lengths, made from polyester (not fibreglass which is itchy)

The inner duct has perferations to allow sound into the polyester fabric. The outer layer is airtight. At the ends of the ducting it is important to use duct tape to seal the inner and outer layers together to prevent air coming through the loose ends of the fabric, particularly at the fan end or at a wall mounting or joiner.

We supply this acoustic duct in

• 300/315mm

We can also provide a heavier duty Acoustic duct in approximately 3m and 6m lengths.

Always allow for some extra ducting as stretching ducting to its full limit can be difficult.
